Abstract:This is a flute based musical instrument with scale shifting capabilities. It is named as, Flexi Flute - Scale Shift, which introduces a structural enhancement to the traditional flute, enabling precise musical scale shifts. It comprises a flute body, blowing hole, cork, a rectangular slit, and a distinct pipe accessory. The pipe accessory features multiple rows of finger holes, allowing the musician to rotate it around the flute body to produce tones of different scales. This design allows the flute to be fine-tuned for performances or accompaniment. The invention enhances the versatility of the traditional flute, preserving its aesthetic beauty while expanding its musical capabilities, making it a valuable instrument for Indian music performances.
